Congregational Nurse

Friendship UMC has a congregational nurse. The Congregational nurse program is affiliated with Cone Health Systems. It is a faith based  wholistic program that embraces all dimensions of health: spiritual, physical, psychological, and emotional.  Faith based nursing services include, counseling, education, advocacy, and coordination of health screenings and support groups for the church and community.

Wearing Gloves, Personal Protective Equipment, and the Use of Disinfectants

We are creating a series of videos on health and safety as we start to begin worshiping together again. These videos will demonstrate proper hygiene and protocols that will be necessary to come back to the sanctuary safely. Dawn Hall, the Faith Community Nurse at Friendship UMC, is creating these videos to help our congregation and the surrounding community develop best practices when it comes to hand washing, wearing a mask, and using gloves.
